Golden Lodge Assisted Living and Memory Care is locally owned and operated in Golden, Colorado. Offering assisted living, memory care, and respite services, our team is committed to enhancing the lives of our residents with exceptional apartments, programs, amenities, and services.


The team at Golden Lodge Assisted Living and Memory Care is compassionate and dedicated to providing a loving and engaging environment for all of our residents and visitors. We treat every resident as a member of our own family. We truly care about the well-being and health of our residents, and we go the extra mile to ensure that every need is met.

I am a native of Colorado, with a husband, 3 amazing adult children, and 3 wonderful huskies that keep me entertained. I began in this industry in my teens when my Grandmother began to show signs of Alzhelmer’s Disease, she came to live with us, and my family became her caretakers.

I went to school for my CNA license and worked as a CNA until I had my kiddos. When I returned to Senior Living, I went the Assisted Living route and have been there ever since.

I learned a lot from my mother who was a Director of Nursing for the duration of her career, and I chose to go a different direction because I saw what senior communities were like, and what they could be, so I went the direction of leading people.

I have my BS in Organizational Leadership, have been through the Eden Alternative training and have worked for some of the largest senior living organizations, I am most excited about being with Golden Lodge because I believe we can do it right. The team here is one of the best I have seen, and we have a blank slate to do what we have all wanted to be done, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this community.

Bree Jackson is a Colorado Native who grew up off grid in the San Luis mountain range, pressing wildflowers for her family’s business. She attended school in Ft. Collins at the Healing Arts Institute and became a licensed massage therapist, owning and operating her own private practice for over 10 years.

Bree spent over a decade in the DME industry as both a Clinic Liaison and an expert biller in Medicaid and Medicare. She started working in Skilled Nursing as a Business Office manager in Salida, CO and knew immediately this was her calling. When offered the position as the Director of Marketing/Business
Office Manager of Golden Lodge, Bree decided to move from the mountains into an opportunity of opening a new building.

Since opening, Bree was afforded the opportunity to expand her career, having been trained and certified as an Administrator in the State of Colorado and she is currently backing up the Executive Director as the need arises.

Katelyn Blount was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. She went to college at Louisiana State University and minored in English, Sociology and Psychology. She then lived in Calgary, Canada for 3 years before moving to Colorado in 2014. 

Katelyn has been in Senior Living for 7 years in the role of Activities Director. She uses her experience in event planning to customize an activities calendar that caters to each resident‘s interests and passions, Katelyn loves going on outings with the residents as well as planning enriching activities at Golden Lodge. 

In her free time Katelyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing, hiking and enjoying beautiful Colorado. 

Brenda Martinez started working in the senior living industry at age 17. Beginning her career as a personal care provider with a small community in Lakewood, she knew right away, helping others was the course she was designed to follow. Eventually ending up at a Memory Care community, finding this even more endearing, having the capability to voice for other individuals, is what made her genuinely happy. Finding herself in a Supervisor/Trainer position, she worked closely with the Alzheimer’s Association, gaining further understanding of Dementia and Alzheimer’s. This led her to obtain her Administrator certificate and both own and operate Assisted Living communities in the state of Colorado.
